This 2-hour webinar was presented by Harm Reduction Coalition’s Kacey Byczek, Capacity Building Services Manager East, and Kristen Marshall, DOPE Project Manager, on November 15th, 2018. The webinar reviews basic information about fentanyl and focuses on how to discuss risk and harm reduction options surrounding fentanyl-use with a person who uses drugs (PWUD) and their non-using networks.
Topics in this workshop include overdose, skill building to better engage clients in prevention conversations, and discussion on who would benefit from messaging around fentanyl risk. This webinar can be applied to a range of clients from those who use drugs and seek fentanyl on purpose to others who were not wanting or expecting fentanyl in their drug supply.
