This webinar features Alice Asher, a Senior Service Fellow in the Office of Policy, Planning and Partnerships within CDCs National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention followed by a panel discussion featuring local providers who developed and implemented a local Harm Reduction response to Hepatitis A as outbreaks developed in their communities.

 

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the current landscape of hepatitis A outbreaks across the U.S.;
  • Identify risk factors for people who inject drugs;
  • Talk to clients and participants about hepatitis A prevention and treatment;
  • Improve outreach efforts for people at risk of exposure to or living with hepatitis A
