Lighthouse Learning Webinar: Chemsex 101

This training examines specific health risks and concerns that may affect transgender, gender nonconforming, and nonbinary (TGNCNB) individuals, with a focus on promoting health, safety, and well-being through evidence-based harm reduction practices. Participants will explore topics such as chemsex, non-medical silicone injections, and other factors that can contribute to increased health risks within TGNCNB communities. Through discussion and practical application, the training will provide strategies to reduce harm, improve access to supportive services, and address barriers to care. Participants will also learn effective overdose prevention, recognition, and response techniques that prioritize the safety, dignity, and unique needs of TGNCNB individuals. By the end of the training, attendees will have a stronger understanding of how to provide affirming, culturally responsive support and implement harm reduction approaches that help individuals make informed decisions about their health while reducing the risk of adverse outcomes.
