Foundational Fridays – MOUD 101
This 2 -hour webinar is a part of our Foundational Fridays Series taking place every last Friday of the month from 12pm – 2pm EST, from July 2023 – June 2024. This webinar focuses on the basics of MOUD 101.
- This webinar focuses on the basics of Drug Treatment and Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). We will review basic information about drug treatments with a focus on MOUD such as buprenorphine and methadone. Webinar participants will learn how to engage with program participants about their drug use and to educate people on the potential treatments so they can make an informed decision by the end of this workshop, participants will be able to explain how medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) like methadone or buprenorphine is used for treatment of opioid addiction, use the Stages of Change to help figure out if someone is ready for substance use treatment and discuss treatment options with other substances like alcohol or cocaine.
