Foundational Fridays – Sex Work 101
This 2-hour webinar is a part of our Foundational Fridays Series taking place every last Friday of the month from 12 pm – 2pm EST from July 2024 – June 2025. This webinar will focus on how to provide services more effectively when serving people who engage in sex work. We will discuss fieldwork do’s + don’ts, stigma, decrim, and cultural humility to name a few highlights. This training is national in scope, but there is some special attention to New York (our funder).
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Discuss how to make services more accessible for sex workers at the program.
- Integrate harm reduction for sex workers into programming.
- Provide services for people who engage in sex work, more effectively.
