How do you incorporate Harm Reduction principles & practices?
The Baltimore City Needle Exchange (NEP) seeks to reduce HIV, Hepatitis C, and other infections by reducing the circulation of unclean syringes. The program also helps drug users to overcome addiction by linking them to drug treatment services. In addition, the program provides testing for Syphilis, HIV, and Hepatitis C. These services are provided in sixteen locations in the City of Baltimore.
