Nicole Godreau

Nicole Godreau is the Community Engagement and Events Coordinator at Harm Reduction Coalition. She believes that social justice and liberation is possible and sees transformation taking root every day with the collective and individual choices we make as a community to center marginalized voices and experiences, equitable health outcomes, and healing. She joins Harm Reduction Coalition with expertise in capacity building, member engagement, event planning, training facilitation, program management, project implementation, and curriculum development. Prior to joining Harm Reduction Coalition, she served as the Advocacy & Leadership Program Coordinator at Girls Inc. of Alameda County, where she supported young women of color build social justice movements in Oakland. Before moving to Oakland, she was a grassroots Community Organizer with the National Farmworker Ministry, where she partnered on statewide national organizing campaigns focused on policy-based solutions for immigrant communities. She volunteers with her local neighborhood park organization, Friends of Dimond Park, and is a certified yoga teacher (200-hr) from Piedmont Yoga Studio.
